The Police Athletic League of Hallandale Beach is seeking coaches, football players and cheerleaders for its inaugural 2010 POP Warner Football and Cheerleading Program. POP Warner is the only national youth organization that requires scholastic aptitude to participate and is one of the few youth leagues in the country which has enacted and enforces a mandatory minimum play for all players.
As one of the first Broward County Programs, the PAL of Hallandale Beach POP Warner Thoroughbreds will be registering all boys and girls ages 5 to 15 years of age. Registration will held from April 15 to June 30, 2010 at the Cultural Community Center at
410 SE 3rd Street, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009.

Documents due at time of registration: (NOTE: No player may be registered with incomplete information)
• Completed Registration Forms (PAL and POP Warner Forms)
• Birth Certificate - MUST be turned in at time of registration
• Current 2010 Sports Physical/Medical History Form (Must be dated after January 1, 2010)
• Signed Equipment Return Policy
• Fee or completed Scholarship Request (see below for more info)
• End of year Report Card (must be on file by August 1st Practice)

June 26, 2010: O. B. Johnson Park - 10:00am - 2:00pm

PRACTICES:
All fully registered participants will begin practicing Monday, August 2, 2010. All practices are held at Hallandale High School, 720 NW 9th Avenue from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

COACHES & SPONSORS:
We are looking for dedicated coaches, assistants and team parents. All volunteers must submit to a mandatory background check. Background Check forms are available at the Cultural Community Center or online at hallandalebeachpal.com. Please call Kenneth Moseley at 954-457-1466 for sponsorship information.

FEES:
A participation fee is due at the time of registration. The fee is $100 for football and $125 for cheerleaders. Scholarship funding is available to qualified Hallandale Beach residents. All required scholarship information must be submitted with registration and MUST have two forms of proof of residency.
